Process
① Communicate with customers regarding bar dimensions, precision requirements, surface quality, and application scenarios.
② Select the platinum-iridium ratio based on requirements and specify raw material purity (typically ≥99.95%).
③Fuse platinum and iridium metals into a homogeneous alloy via vacuum induction melting, then mold and press to form the initial billet.
④Process the ingot into a rod blank near the target diameter through hot forging, hot rolling, and annealing.
⑤Control diameter tolerance and surface roughness via cold drawing and precision external grinding.
⑥ Final heat treatment relieves cold working stresses, stabilizes dimensions and properties, and adapts the product for diverse applications.
⑦ Quality inspection and surface polishing are performed, and material certificates can be provided to customers upon request.
